Is there a safe and complient way that I can have a light in my shower niche, Keep in mind this is a new build, currently at frame stage. The light will be above the niche as such so it will not get directly wet and it will be inside the wall, how ever I'm guessing it will need to be a special/waterproof light.
Im also seeing a lot of Wall Mirrors with a glowing light behind them, Im curious to know are these mirrors purchased like this? is there a light in the wall behind the mirror? or is it LED's around the mirror?

Hi, I cant help but check our MrsJM's Custom Coral Bronte thread, I know she has lights in her niches - From memory it wasnt smooth sailing but she got there.

I wouldn't recommend the shower niche one. I regularly have interior designers asking me to design these in to my lighting designs but I won't.
It will be very difficult to maintain the integrity of the waterproof membrane. Also, when it fails and needs replacing, you will probably have to butcher the tiles and waterproofing to replace it. To do it properly so that none of these are issues it would cost many hundreds of dollars or more.
The mirror on the other hand is relatively easy. You can find pictures on my build thread - I've done both bathrooms.
