Hey guys
Just in the process of looking at some lights for the new house (that hasn't even started being built yet!! )
We are not having downlights as a lighting option - except for over the kitchen bench and to the alfresco.
We are having oyster lights throughout the main living areas, in the bedrooms etc and we will probably get some nice chandeliers for over the dining table and main entrance.
We have come to a stand still when it comes to ordering them online though as we can't decide whether to go for square or round oyster lights throughout the home.
We will only be getting the one type throughout - for uniformity/simpleness. Initially I thought square, but then I thought round and now I think I am moving back to square (Don't say anything jo )
So what have you seen IRL and liked? A friend had one square oyster in her open plan living and I didn't really like the look, but I think it may have been more to do with the fact she had downlights and pendants everywhere else and it looked sort of out of place.
Also it wasn't very flush to the ceiling - I prefer this sleek/modern look too.
Thanks for any help - remember pics always help too
Cheers
Bel
