Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Mar 10, 2017 9:41 am Hi guys, Just wondering what your thoughts about replacing the current oyster light with something else? I really like those wicker or wooden pendant lights, but I've been told there's too much going on already as there is a ceiling fan and an arc lamp nearby. If that is the case, what else can I put there? I want to create a nice warmer mood lighting for the dining area. Thanks. P.s. Someone also suggested getting down lights but unfortunately I have an old vermiculite (popcorn) ceiling, and I don't want to install down lights into that. Pic 1: You can just see the oyster light hiding behind the fan. It's not directly centered above the dining table at the moment. Pic 2: Some people have said that the ceiling already looks too busy.
