Just wanted to know if there are any other sparkys who have wired their own new house and what creative things they have done with lighting. Strip lighting in the bathroom or kitchen? Down lights? Wall lights? Outdoor deck lights? Sensors? The list is endless! What did you do to make your house stand out from the basic electrical plan? Re: Electrician wiring your own house. 2Apr 07, 2016 11:26 am Can't help you. I wired my own house but did the absolute minimum amount of electrical work.
