Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Dec 05, 2015 6:39 am Hi I'm sure this has been done to death but I can't seem to find in a search.. Considering installing some downlights after handover but what do we need to consider here? We have a raked roof in kitchen/living and only a 1.5 degree pitch in the upstairs lounge. In that case should we use our 22 light fittings through this area and any after handover in bedrooms etc? Little worried about things that might go wrong cutting into plaster etc afterwards? Is there a chance the finish might not be as neat? I guess what we would do is install a batten fixture in each room? Trying to work out if it's worth saving the $. It's going to be about $100 per light with the builder (we've already bought the fittings!) and we have about 25 over our contract.. They definitely won't let us pay the sparky direct during the build. Our bank requires us to provide one but we are missing 4 building certificates from our first… 3 57178 yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 2780 Your house should come in "as new" condition.
