Nice!! Was only looking at a image online today that had green and white kitchen. Looks very fresh.. I like. Love your bench too modern. Is that s solid column on the corner or does it wrap around the bench? Re: Show Us Your Island Pendants 5Apr 26, 2015 7:10 am The kitchen itself is white, bench is white/grey marble, and the tiles are 3 different shades of grey. Just thought we'd use the pendants and the stools to add some colour. The plywood breakfast bar helps break the monotony in white too. I'll upload a photo from inside the kitchen so it makes more sense but the wall wraps around and goes up the hallway Building Services Engineer Renovating our 1960's modernist home in Brisbane https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=82091 Re: Show Us Your Island Pendants 6Apr 26, 2015 8:08 am In the display home they had pendants over the island bench but in the end we decided to go for downlights directly over the island bench.. the only downlights we will have in the entire house Paddington 29 @ Blue Horizon Estate (Lot 105, Wattleridge Crescent, North Kellyville) Our Build Progress Blog: http://light487.wordpress.com/ Re: Show Us Your Island Pendants 7Apr 27, 2015 8:55 am This is in the kitchen looking back out to the living room, and a couple of other photos to give a better idea of the layout etc These photos are a bit older, as you can see in the pictures in my previous post we have replaced the door out to the courtyard with a 3 lite glass door. Kind of like that.. I know.. it's pretty specific.. I've been hunting for this for a couple of weeks now and I can't seem to find it. I want it for our front room and it's the only light fitting that we want to be extra special as it is what everyone will see the moment they walk into the house as well as from outside when the blinds are not drawn. It's frustrating because I can imagine/see it in my head but can't find anything anywhere.. I'd even accept something in a different colour that I'd paint to match the carpet.. I was wondering if 3 pendants might have been too much.. but now I dont think so Cheers, Paul (& Lisa) Parkhill 36 by ClarendonHomes in Coomera Retreat H1 Build Thread And Blog Building Blogs List - Go Ahead And Add Yours!! Re: Show Us Your Island Pendants 13May 07, 2015 7:39 pm Thanks Roomeat. My brother in-law is a sparky and he always recommends an odd number of lights when doing pendants. The size of mine are relatively small so we went with 5 lights over the 2800mm island bench Settled Land 28/04/11 Siteworks 04/12/12 Footings 16/03/13 Slab Poured 27/03/13 Frame 22/04/13 Roof 29/04/13 Bricks 07/06/13 1st Fix 02/07/13 2nd Fix 26/07/13 Handover 18/09/13 Re: Show Us Your Island Pendants 14Jun 28, 2015 9:09 pm 1960sModernistHome This is our kitchen bench http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g100/tobes_01/20150120_202431_zpsnsr73hci.jpg 1960s, these lights are fantastic, just what we've been looking for..where did you purchase these, if you don't mind me asking?
