Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Mar 29, 2015 2:07 pm hi there, ventura have generally been useless with their recommendations/advise especially with the lighting plans. We want downlights in most of the house but pendent lights in above the breakfast bar in the kitchen but they have said all they can do is put bayonet lights in and we have to change then afterwards but because of the first floor slab they have said it's going to be incredibly difficult to change it. Same with a feature light in the entrance hall. Would really appreciate hearing peoples views. red lights were original, blue ones we have added since then. I would follow the aesthetic lines of the lighting plan. basically you have 4x lights in the lounge area, so I would recommend following the same pattern. If your builder is using Exposed Posi-Struts, then the wiring should be relatively easier than solid Posi-struts. The electrician can feed a tongue through the gaps, and wire the lights as you have allowed. It might get tricky in some spots, but a good electrician should be able to accomplish this for you. I hope this helps Kind Regards, Kristin Lighting Expert Phone -1300 798 220 Email - service@golights.com.au Website - http://www.golights.com.au Were struck with: Colorbond Ironstone Grey roof and cream windows.
