Unfortunately the USA has decided to run with 120v 60Hz electrical system. Most of the rest of the world runs on either 220v, 230v or 240v 50Hz. It is not difficult to make a US luminaire work on Australia's 240v 50Hz system, but to make it safe and legal is another matter altogether unfortunately. Basic luminaires would be reasonably easy, but complex fittings or anything with integral transformers or LED drivers will be difficult.
