So there a halogen globes . I just want to know why sometimes the lights work, and then some lights don't work. I change the bulbs and then they choose when to work and when not to work. The bulbs aren't blown. Has it got to do with the transformer? I don't want to replace the lights as they are only 5 years old and I didn't buy them from overseas, not to say they werent imported from overseas by retailer . I paid a lot of money for these lights ($750 ) But golly gosh I got one whole track where non of the bulbs are working at all. How can this stop happening? It so Frustrating!! Re: Track lighting 2Oct 23, 2013 7:27 pm As the bulbs are not blown, may be the lighting contacts are dirty, you may take a chance by cleaning them, before doing anything make sure to cut off the power source. If you have a dimmer switch you can try changing it, sometimes dimming option may cause such problems. The problem also may occur due to wiring problem, if anything does not work you might take help from an electrician, as your bulbs are not blown you may solve the problem within a small bill. Re: Track lighting 3Jan 08, 2014 7:14 pm Hi, This looks like a GU10 240V unit, and therefore does not require a transformer... I could be wrong, because the images aren't very clear, but in my experience, that is what you have. It would be safe to say, that if the globes are not blown, your fittings may be damaged. It could be dust, or damaged connections. I would have an electrician check it out, and if it's still under warranty, possibly haveing a replacement sent. I hope this has helped.
