My lil two storey build in WA https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=63516 Re: Kitchen and dining lights, will these match? 6Jul 07, 2013 9:04 am I'd suggest not lighting the kitchen area per SE, but lighting the kitchen work area. Any kitchen area lighting will cast a shadow onto the work area. We use under cabinet lighting extensively, and angled downlights (so no shadows, they cross each other) in a bulkhead over an island bench. There was provision for more lighting in the bulkhead but we found we didn't need any more lights. We have some designers on board that may be able to help you choose adequate lighting. I would suggest some LED strip lighting also. Discreet but really effective. Love the dining table light. Skylights are great, but pointless at night. Lighting up the work area is the most important part of any lighting plan. But, of course, it needs to look good also Kind Regards, Kristin Lighting Expert Phone -1300 798 220 Email - service@golights.com.au Website - http://www.golights.com.au Can anyone suggest a house layout where the kitchen-dining - living runs the length across the rear of the house left to right where our best view will be we… 0 4345 |
