Hello all, I'm about to build a house and the standard finishes from my builder has listed 12v LED Downlights. Originally this was fine by me as I hadn't really thought about it much, however, now I'm tossing up whether to get GU10 downlights instead.
Can anyone list the pros and cons of GU10 vs MR16 for LED downlights specifically? There are a few posts on here, which on balance seem to imply they are reasonably level pegging, though this particular post seems to point out the MR16 ones would be better quality:

The reason why I'm thinking about GU10 now is because I have some Lifx (http://lifx.co) bulbs on order, which i'm looking forward to, however they only come in edison, bayonet and GU10 sizes, no MR16 size.
I'm wondering whether there are any compelling reasons to go for the MR16's over the GU10's, as at the moment, I would like to have the GU10 Lifx bulbs in my house (even though they are untested, I like the idea of them).
