After a realllly long slog, my home is getting close to being ready for handover, but one of the first things I'll be doing is replacing the 42W globes that have been installed throughout with lower power LED bulbs. The question, however, is what temperature to replace them with - and what luminosity.
From what I've been able to determine, the 42W halogens they've installed run at about 660lm, so the bulb options I have for replacement are as follows:
10W, 6000K, 850lm.
7W, 6000K, 570lm.
5W, 3000K, 450lm.
9W, 3000K, 720lm.

The left and window wall will be getting painted a very deep blue in this room - which will certainly help reduce sunlight reflection.
What specific type of globes do people suggest for each type of living area?
