Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Apr 13, 2013 5:28 pm Hi all, i'm new to lighting, have no idea and was hoping for some input in regards to it as I have to buy lights for my whole unit! I'm a big fan of the design of eglo's fres (only seen pictures though) http://www.eglolighting.com.au/products ... fres/85345 Do you think this would be suitable for a 5m x 5m area? Would the lighting be more diffused or directional? I was also looking at their pendant lighting but they all seem to be 1m! That would guarantee someone would hit their head on it. I have no idea in regards to this and any and all help would be appreciated. I was thinking something like this: http://www.eglolighting.com.au/products ... ants/92563 May be nice for the bedroom but again at 1m they're going to be too low, thanks in advance! Re: New to lighting 2Apr 13, 2013 10:13 pm The three light pendant would look lovely over a dining table or a short or square island. You don't have to have the single pendants hanging down 1 metre, just tell the electrician who fits them how far you want them to hang and he will adjust the length.
