We are getting them in our new house too!!!.
In WA clipsal has just released a new colour in them...White. The other colour is ocean mist i think....dont quote me.... but its like a bluey coloured glass. The new one is stark white. It looks lovely, but more minamilist and modern. Hubby works for a wholesaler so we got them cost plus 5% plus gst. cost us just under $1000 for a standard 4x2 house. With our contract builder we just specified...owner to supply switch gear, which cost us nothing. We didnt mention running the nutreal (spelt?!?!)that runs the LED to the builder, we are just paying the sparky cash to do that as he installs them. They look amazing dont they! Oh HPM do an amazing range with interchangable covers....like 60 different covers available. really designer. Hubby brought home the Reps briefcase that had all the covers in...boy did I have fun!! If you want to make a statement, check them out. But i wanted something more classic ![]() We havn't got cbus though, just the standard LED switches. Hooray for new ideas!!! ![]() Re: New range from Clipsal! 63Mar 11, 2009 9:23 pm hey glitter, yeah they are just fab aren't they!
I was excited to be able to get them in my kitchen, ensuite and bathroom...but as we have our BIL doing all our electricals, have been very prudent with our lightfitting selections, plus mainly he got a great deal (able to get the Saturns for the cost of normal switches ![]() ![]() We are going for the new white ones....they just look devine ![]() Re: New range from Clipsal! 64Mar 13, 2009 3:12 pm Does anybody know if these are more expensive than the standard switch? Re: New range from Clipsal! 72Apr 03, 2009 10:40 pm I'm working on my electrical plan now and will be using Saturn's in common areas of the home. Question being if for say the bedrooms are just ceiling fans with attached downlights I am thinking I will not beable to use Saturns for this. Otherwise option would be single gang Saturn for the lights on the fan, and standard plate for the fan speed controller. Any other options?
