Hi,
In a scenario where a circit will have 4 x LED downlights (say a living room) powered by one switch, would it be better to have each downlight seperately powered by a smaller driver/transformer or one larger driver/transformer powering all four downlights?
I'm thinking:
Pros:
Installation cost would be less for one large driver because you could essentially have just one GPO installed by an electrician in the ceiling
Cons:
When the transformer dies, all four lights go out rather than just one light.
Examples of products found on ebay:
LED Driver 150 Watt Power Supply (One large driver big enough to power 4 LED downlights):

LED Driver 12V 15W Power Supply (Small drivers to power 1 downlight each):

Has anybody installed just one transformer/driver? If so, what product have you found which is good quality? Thoughts/feedback?
