Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Oct 12, 2011 6:21 pm Looking for a new light for my soon to be expanded kitchen. At present I have a circular fluru which looks good and gives off good light, but we are extending the kitchen and making it into a rectangle meaning the old fluro won't light the extended end of the kitchen properly. I could move the existing fluro to the centre but think I will then have some dark corners. So was wondering if anyone knows of a strip fluro that would look good in a modern looking kitchen? Failing that what will give a nice even light over a kitchen about 3.3m long and 2m wide? Re: Good looking strip fluro 2Oct 13, 2011 6:38 pm Why not move the fluro to the centre and then add a few down lights in the areas that you need more lighting. They aren’t that great for lighting that needs to spread but excellent for directional lighting over work and prep areas.
