However - it's slightly longer than my normal GU10 globes, so we can't fit the gimbal ring back on! The globe almost extends down to the level of the ceiling (whereas the previous ones are approx 1cm higher than ceiling and the gimbal edge goes up to meet it, if that makes any sense). Is it possible to buy 'gimbal rings' that would fit on our existing (10yo) fittings, that have a flat/flush with ceiling profile and might fit with these led lights? Thanks.
