Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Sep 09, 2011 1:31 am Hi Guys. I'm in the middle of renovating our back room and tuning it into a Entertainment room. I have been looking for lighting tips and solutions to what is currently in the room. I have a 3.2M high Alcoved ceiling with 2 Standard Bulb fittings lighting the room. I am thinking about Installing 6-8 LED Downligts along the length the highest part of the ceiling and then Three Spot Down lights in the centre of the same section of ceiling to light My Pool Table. I have a Dilemma where a Pool table light would get in the way of viewing the TV on the feature Wall from the couch so I need to find another way of lighting the Pool table. I did start a search for a motorised Light that I could wind up and down via switch but no luck in finding one. ANY SUGGESTIONS??? ANYWAY!! That wasn't the reason for this post but I thought seeing as i was here it might pay to get some Ideas from you guys. The room is a rectangular shape around 5m Long by 3.7w My main reason for this post is that I am looking for two lights to go in the back corners of the room next to the couch and Piano. I have found "THE" light but unfortunately cannot find it here in Australia...here is a link to the Light in Question, http://www.hinkleylighting.com/products ... 230&cid=13 I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a store somewhere that Sold Hinkley lighting products in Australia..or even the UK as their voltages are the same as ours I believe. From reading a few posts here, about lights from the US, I understand that a Sparky will probably need to do some work on them to get them up to Australian standards. I have found http://houseofantiquehardware.com who have this and ship to Australia but their shipping price is HORRENDOUS! And then they have "Spend $500 and get free International Shipping"...Which I could easily do as I am also looking for A Lantern Style Wall mounted Entry light. That brings me to my other purpose for this post. I am struggling to find any well built, decent looking Old Style Lanterns here in Melbourne I have been to Schotts and the outdoor lanterns they sell look OK but are not built very well from first looks and handling. Can anyone suggest Places on where to buy Theses old style lights... I found another one from the Hinkley Lighting range, http://www.hinkleylighting.com/products ... 487&cid=23 , that would look amazing...but alas not available here from what I can tell. Hoping we can get something out of this thread Thanks in advance Best Regards Michael Re: Lighting Questions Galore...Not really only 1 or 2 :D 2Sep 09, 2011 7:57 am I just did a search on ebay for Hinkley - you will find a couple of lights currently listed. Not the lights you are looking for but maybe if you sent the companies the details of what you want they might source and send to you!! Maybe not, but might be worth an email. Good Luck.
