Re: SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTS!....Pwease.lol 22Apr 23, 2011 7:58 pm This is a great thread guys! I just wanted to bump it up so that maybe more people will add their photos for those of us just making these decisions at the moment. Anyone got any photos of some lights appropriate for a little boys room? Re: SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTS!....Pwease.lol 23Apr 23, 2011 8:22 pm Lex Hi Erin, Where did you find this light!? Do you know who makes it and what is its name? I got it from Beacon Lighting, look online at their website, I saw one there today. It's called the Vogue. Re: SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTS!....Pwease.lol 24Apr 23, 2011 8:27 pm Just checked their website and couldn't find it, but they definately had one their today, maybe they are not going to re-stock it, so if you want one, ring Beacon or email them. They may have others at other shops. it is not a DIY. Re: SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTS!....Pwease.lol 25Apr 23, 2011 8:38 pm We're planning to use these; For our general ceiling lights This one for in the front porch, but in grey These for outside We might hang these low over each side of our bed or these ones, I like how they look a bit like a wasp's nest. I want to see this one in person, but this is probably what we'll put in my youngest daughter's room (it's from Ikea) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We'll use two set of tracking lights like this in the kitchen, and 5 or 6 one in the lounge Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ That's as far as I've got. We're purchasing it all slowly now so they are ready for the sparkie to put in at final fix. ~W~ Building our forever home - Lilium Estate Clyde - Land due May 2019 Built our first home - Pakenham - 2011 Re: SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTS!....Pwease.lol 26Apr 23, 2011 9:52 pm Thanks, deb! I bought some chrystal/silver/chrome pendants (whatever it is) just the other day Hey Lou, I was looking at that second light a LOT recently, but also at a rattan style similar to your first one!! I need one light that would go with a beach-ey theme and I narrowed it down to something rattan or that light timber one (all the white coloured iron look ones are too girly). Do you know who makes that timber one and what is it called? I can't find it anywhere by name My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Re: SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTS!....Pwease.lol 32Apr 24, 2011 8:18 pm Hi Lex here is the link, the best thing about these lights are that they are shades on suspended poles so when I get sick of them I can just change the shade without having to call out and electrician. They also have the second photo in a beech colour. http://www.oriel-lighting.com.au/earthl ... index.html Cheers Lou http://take2-customdesigndownslope.blogspot.com 07-10-09 omg they have cut the block 14-05-10 we finally have the keys Re: SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTS!....Pwease.lol 33Apr 24, 2011 10:27 pm Thanks, Lou!! It's Taho, and the size is also quite appropriate. It's a great idea to install the suspension and then change the shade when you get tired of it! I just hope that the white (glass?) cylinder inside does not impede on the amount of light given I think this shade can aslo be batten-fixed, without the suspension My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Re: SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTS!....Pwease.lol 34Apr 24, 2011 10:36 pm The white is a material & perspect, we have not problem with the amount of light, not sure if you can batten-fix the fixing point in the shade may be too low. Kaytee's kitchen table on s gorgeous!!! And I also love just erin's laundry one Thanks for this thread, great ideas! Hmmm, I'm now wondering if I should have put in down lights in the living areas!! Actually, it it easy to convert a downlight to a pendant? I know there's a transformer, but not one that will convert into a cool car lol!! I guess it's a spark job?
