Your thoughts please sij This is from someone who imports almost everything... be careful, you must meet Australian Standards, or you may find that your home is not insured if there is a fire. Perhaps you could buy the units and have them rewired by your electrician here... Bro MR16 or GU10 im thinking GU10. What do you import? Nope, I mean pull all the Indian wiring out of the units and have the local guy rewire completely. Chandeliers ahve wire inside, take that out and start again. The wire is not the expsnsive part. We design windows here and have them made in our factories in China. They all pass local tests here, and are the strongest and most energy efficient in Australia for their type. What we save on labour we put into quality... you won't find a stronger better built window here even at 4x the price. If the electronics are internal then you will need to show a full testing report from the supplier and have a ntick number to attach. If the electronics are external ie. a transformer/driver that connects to the 240V then you will need a full test done on the transformer/driver. That said there are plenty of companies selling LED products without these tests in Australia, good luck if your house burns down though. So I'm just reading up on this ecosystem of lights.
