Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Sep 26, 2010 10:48 am Hi all I am looking for a nice coastal style dining pendant to go over my dining table. We have two white textured drum pendants in the living room which can be seen from the dining room through the double french doors and three white textured small rectangular pendants hanging over our island bench in the kitchen which is next to the dining. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe something woven perhaps? Re: Coastal Style Dining Pendant - any ideas? 2Sep 26, 2010 3:49 pm make one yourselves with drift wood? otherwise something beachy, say shells? I am not sure, but def light in colour and texture maybe. look at some hamptons websites. Re: Coastal Style Dining Pendant - any ideas? 3Sep 26, 2010 4:19 pm Have a look at Oriel lighting earth range, most of their pendant shades hand off a pendant shaft, so it is very easy to change the shade later if your wish. Re: Coastal Style Dining Pendant - any ideas? 7Oct 01, 2010 1:59 pm I saw the havana light yesterday over here. I touched it and thought..dust. too much in those crevices. But I did like it and liked the texture. I would go for something that can stand the wind...what is the grass pendant like? the pic didnt show up all the way. Re: Coastal Style Dining Pendant - any ideas? 8Oct 01, 2010 2:28 pm Make sure you get a solid pole style shaft to hange the pendant off so it won't sway. Lou, thanks for the tip. I got solid rods on the small island bench pendants but will be getting cables for the large pendants in the lounge as it was quite hard to get the rod pendants straight Re: Coastal Style Dining Pendant - any ideas? 10Oct 01, 2010 5:20 pm What about this: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Twigs just kinda say "coastal" to me.
