I am in the Blue Mountains in NSW, so about as far as it is possible to be from you You could try your state Clipsal office - they may be able to help you out, or try asking on http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/ Paul Re: LED downlights 103Jul 22, 2013 4:55 pm now after this thread, it makes sense why most of builders have too many LED downlights installed in every room. it's coverage area per LED downlight? To let people know, LED down lights have come a long way since 2010, and the price has dropped dramatically, and are much brighter. I have no clue. First build. Thanks! Bunnings have Click LED GU10 bulbs, 5W for less than $10 each. I think they are great. Demolition August 2009, Construction Started September 2009, Completed December 2010 Re: LED downlights 108Aug 05, 2014 9:42 pm I am considering buying a lot of these for installation in a new house: https://www.ecosmartlighting.com.au/pro ... -kit-s9048 Has anyone used this brand/model or dealt with this store? Re: LED downlights 110Aug 17, 2014 3:12 pm Hi guys, We are thinking of getting led downlights post handover. What wattage and beam angle should we be looking at for a 2750mm high ceiling? We are only looking at living areas with an approx size of 4 mtrs x 4 mtrs. Any feedback is much appreciated. Re: LED downlights 111Aug 18, 2014 8:31 pm Super Nes I've yet to see a better LED downlight better than the Brightgreen D900's/1000's when comparing to a 50W Halogen. GoLights, would you agree? Have you seen the new 7.5W Osram LED downlights? Not common yet, but they are bright. Re: LED downlights 112Sep 04, 2014 11:11 am Hi, There are so many variations these days, and I'll be honest, many lights are on par these days. The most important factor to look at is the Lumens output vs Wattage. LED technology has come very far in recent months, and the pricing has dropped dramatically. The CRI has improved and the overall look of the lights also. It may take some time to find the right light, but it's well worth it. But it's always better to pick up the phone and speak to a professional, and they can help with any questions. I hope this helps Kind Regards, Kristin Lighting Expert Phone -1300 798 220 Email - service@golights.com.au Website - http://www.golights.com.au Re: LED downlights 113Oct 12, 2014 12:16 am You know I really like nice lighting. I always pop into display homes and am often disappointed with led lights. I've only ever been back into two homes and asked what lights they've used because I like them so much. Both times they've been halogen lights! One of them is the peter Stannard home in Waterford. I know I should be getting leds for the new home but I don't like them. If someone could tell me of a display home in perth that has really nice led lights I'd love to check it out.
