They look pretty awesome I think, but I would have to take a photo to give you a full idea. This picture doesn't do them justice - the fitting looks odd in the pic (I'll get a photo of mine in action tonight). http://www.beaconshop.com.au/index.php? ... &Itemid=1# Blog is now up - http://www.jbdave.blogspot.com/ Re: What is the s*xiest kitchen lights 4Mar 05, 2010 12:20 pm jbdave, how well does it spread the light ? That's what I wanted in my bathrooms but the Beacon saleswoman advised against it, saying that the glass diffuses the light. Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: What is the s*xiest kitchen lights 5Mar 05, 2010 12:42 pm I have 3 of them over the island bench also. As for how the light spreads, I think it's fine, but they're probably not the right lights to use in a bathroom situation. We turn them on obviously when using the island bench, and sometimes just for background lighting when in the family room. I'll get the photo when I get home tonight. Yeah definately another downlight or two. If not, you won't be able to use the kitchen benchtop opposite the island bench. I have one central downlight over the main kitchen part, and if I need any more light, I have two under cupboard dl's (which are never used) Blog is now up - http://www.jbdave.blogspot.com/ Re: What is the s*xiest kitchen lights 9Mar 05, 2010 7:27 pm Here are mine. They are expensive but if money is no object and you want to make an artistic statement maybe you should have a look at his range. http://www.davidtrubridge.com/lighting-set/ Re: What is the s*xiest kitchen lights 13Apr 09, 2010 2:51 pm agreed, the David Trubridge fittings are amazing !!! a little tricky putting them together, but if you buy them from an Australian store they will generally assemble it for you. From this retailer http://www.houseofaroha.co.nz/2010/02/1 ... trubridge/, very good, lights arrived in about 10 days. So I'm just reading up on this ecosystem of lights. I'm planning on putting deck lights along the outside edge of a large deck. Will need about 3 packs (18 lights) plus… 0 23175 No. It's not original.
