Last year while building I was searching light fittings and fell in love with this beauty for the entrance. The problem was we didnt have any money to buy it, but now that we have saved a little and able to buy it, I cant find it anywhere. (I seen it on micaunited and onlinelighting, but its no longer there.) Does anyone know where I can get one (one similar, or some other suggestions- not too expensive though LOL), DH wants me to choose something now... I want to wait until I have found it or one I love as much. Re: looking for this light 2Jan 07, 2010 3:23 pm Contact Mica, they are really helpful and may still be able to get it in, if its something that thay have stocked in the past. Re: looking for this light 3Jan 08, 2010 10:33 pm Went to the light shop today and enquired, as they had a telbix catalogue, and were told they are a discontinued item. So now have to go with something else. DH likes this 2 tier one, I like the 3 tier one. The thing I dont like is the chain that holds the light up I prefer a solid pole. Re: looking for this light... its discontinued! :( 4Jan 09, 2010 10:50 am Monkey - can the chain be removed and replaced with a solid pole? I know I purchased the solid pole connection from a local lighting supplier here for around $40 each when I was doing my island bench lighting. The eleco connected them for me prior to installing. We were a little boring and just chose a plainish light. In saying that however it is amazing how much light it actually throws off. Re: looking for this light... its discontinued! :( 5Jan 09, 2010 5:25 pm hmmm I never thought of that kyton, the thing maybe a tad heavy though Will ask at the light shop. The lights you chose are nice, DH pointed out something similar. I am after WOW factor though...something to keep the visitors heads up so they miss the mess the kids seem to make on the floor! They may even have one at head office that they'd be willing to sell to you. Worth a try.
