Hello All,
I have a quick question. We recently purchased three low energy downlights (envirolux) for our corridor and had them professionally installed. When tested on that day they seemed to work well. Since then, generally only two of them will turn on. It can be two different ones every time. Occassionaly all three turn on.
I've replaced one with incandescent, and they then all reliably turn on. Put the cfl back and they go back to "any 2 out of 3" mode. Unfortunately using incandescent is not a good long term solution as they are not designed to cope with that kind of heat.
These are corridor lights and there are two switches, one at each end, someone suggested once this may be the issue but I can't get reliable info on this.
Is there a limit to how many cfl can go on one switch, or perhaps a limit on how many switches?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks - L
