Similar effects were around in the 80s in high-end hollywood homes featured on TV & in movies, so it really dates it for me.
If the whole panel glowed uniformly, then it would appeal more to me. Re: LED Illuminated Spashback 3Jul 15, 2007 9:48 am This should add to the appeal of this idea - with LEDs you can put in tri-colour LEDs that can be set to any colour. One day you can have red, then next purple. At Christmas you could also go for red and green.
Sound appealing? Re: LED Illuminated Spashback 4Jul 15, 2007 10:07 am hmmm I like under bench lighting in a kitchen but that doesn't do it for me....
So not in my kitchen Oh and I checked out the link - I think what they did to that stackstone wall is criminal Fiona Re: LED Illuminated Spashback 5Jul 15, 2007 2:07 pm I think I could like it if it was white light. Has a nice diffused lighting affect.
But I don't think the coloured affect would be something many folk could live with in a kitchen splashback. Possibly if it had a subtle coloured tone that compliments a kitchen, but not a bright colour. Ash. Re: LED Illuminated Spashback 6Jul 17, 2007 4:03 pm I LOVE IT!!!!
This is perfect ambience lighting when entertaining, I could NEVER use it as task lighting or to cook by, but for mood lighting, it does it for me! Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com |
