(for the want of a better word) If it does I don't think it can be recessed. We had the same lights ready for our main ensuite but then decided to stick with downlights. But our light in the foyer also has a section that we initally thought would be recessed into the ceiling but on closer inspection it couldn't because of the air hole thingies. Re: Bathroom lights installation look right? 4Nov 12, 2009 9:25 pm unfortunately a lot of these multi head spot fittings have oversized bases which as you can see are not well designed and not much thought goes into the aesthetics of the base. the base is not designed to be recessed into the ceiling and i think you will struggle to keep it in if you cut the ceiling for it to fit.
