Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Jul 25, 2009 11:31 pm We are making some changes to the lighting in our bathroom.. currently we have an IXL heater, light and fan in one. We are planning on changing it to a fan (over the shower), 4 downlights (1 over shower, 1 over toilet, 1 over sink and 1 over entrance). BUT.. I am a big sookie la la when I get out of the shower and it is cold. So I want a heat lamp too, but I don't want another IXL all in one thingy. Is there such a thing as a heat bulb that goes into something like a downlight socket? If so, who makes them? This would be positioned in the centre of the 4 downlights (positioned in the middle like the 5 on a dice).. so not a big deal if it doesn't look *exactly* like a downlight. Thanks in advance 2fk Re: Heat Light in Bathroom 2Jul 26, 2009 12:07 am Hi there 2fk, Your dilemma is quite simple. Would I be correct in assuming that this globe can be housed in a standard (ok larger than normal) downlight housing? Thanks 2fk There may be answers here but can't find anything. I have a closed in veranda, four windows. North facing, just had sunblock blinds installed. A bit cooler (actually… 0 1789 Hi - thanks for your reply.
