Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Jun 05, 2009 11:51 am Okay am slowly trying to get organised before meeting our eleco onsite. My kitchen pantry is 5.5m by 2m - with no outside light source (runs parallel along the kitchen). How many light fittings do you think I would need? There will be an exhaust fan in the room as well - as we are placing our toaster / microwave / kettle in there. So I was considering the exhaust fan centred with a light fitting on either side. I also have a problem with dim lighting - tend to overlight a room. So was considering two flouros for brightness factor. Id' probably go for 2 in the five metres. Lighting is almost as hard as window coverings... i.e. VERY! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Re: Lighting for my pantry? 7Jun 05, 2009 3:11 pm love those fluoros kyton, I would go three too, I also prefer an overlit kitchen/pantry space! You could get one (or all of them) on a different switch/es so you wouldn't HAVE to have them all on at the one time... love both those ones in the pictures.
