Try http://lightingpro.com.au/catalog/produ ... cts_id=411 or http://www.ecomaster.com.au/shop/index. ... ucts_id=49 (don't like the look of this one) or http://www.shopwiki.com.au/CFL+Compact+ ... cent+Lamps Demolition August 2009, Construction Started September 2009, Completed December 2010 Re: Casa - 110mm Downlights. 24May 26, 2009 6:26 pm Sorry I found this one, should have phrased my question better. What downlight fitting/surround would these globes be suitable for? I googled "Incandescent Downlights" and found ones suitable for R80 globes such as this one: http://www.onlinelighting.com.au/produc ... ts_id=2881 But they're pretty big diameter wise. In my head, I'm thinking a smaller fitting to suit the R63 lamp would be only marginally bigger than the typical 50W Halogen downlights? Re: Casa - 110mm Downlights. 25May 26, 2009 7:54 pm Yes, the R63 light fitting is only slightly larger than a conventional Halogen downlight. The R80 is only slightly larger again. As far a light fittings go, I purchased a couple of R80 white light fittings for next to nothing a few years ago from a lighting store. I think this is one item that it's better to go to a lighting store and just ask for what you're after. Which of your 1-7 are slow start up - very yellow and take a while to warm up to full light? Assuming CFL are compact flourescents, am trialling 2 at home now, kids hate the light at start up - I'm looking for instant light comparable with the incandesent globes of old.
