Hi Casa
A while ago you mentioned that it would be worth looking at 110mm 15w CFL's (with a warm white globe) as having a reasonable lite output vis a vis halogens. Have new/better products come onto the market, or is this still applicable?
The cost of LED's is over our budget, so our choices are basically CFL's or CFL's
So now we need to look seriously at our preference for downlights. Oyster fittings may still be a possibility in some areas, but our bedrooms will have ceiling fans, & I don't like the fan/lite combos, so I guess CFL DL's will be the go there. Other areas (living/dining)nI may look at oyster/DL combinations.
Thanks Casa for all your advice across the forum; you have been most helpful
TIA
