Choose wise and think future proof in terms of the lamps used now and what the alternate will be later on. Both in terms of cost and looks. As someone who works in the industry, it is now getting harder to source standard GLS (normal) globes.Yes they are still around but won't be much longer. Cost on energy efficient replacements are still on the high side but hopefully will come down in time.
