Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Nov 08, 2008 9:05 am This is a pic of the lounge in my house I'm building. This room will actually be an open study/library/chill out room. The wall with the grey tiles in the pic actually stops where the tiles do, it's only a three quarter wall.
I'm going to steal Phoenix's idea from her study and put in a wall mounted bench as a desk along this wall for computers, etc. The ceiling is high so overhead lighting becomes problematic.... so I was thinking of putting some type of adjustable wall lights that are unobotrusive when not in use but can come out to give lots of lighting when needed. But I can't find anything online.... anyone got any suggestions? sorry, brain is a bit fuzzy this morning ( too many voddys last night) You want a light that mounts to the wall, but you can move the angle of to create better lighting? or you want to move them along the wall? Re: Adjustable wall lights. 3Nov 08, 2008 9:19 am Hi Mel,
Ones where I can adjust the angle. I just don't want to go ahead and put the fitting there if I can't get a nice light. I'd also prefer one that has a matching fixed wall light as I want two of those for outside the theatre and the two areas are visually linked. Standard wall lights, and then turn on a desk lamps for when you need it.
This is an option though http://www.lightinggallery.com.au/PhotoGallery.asp?ProductCode=mer+altos+A91051 Steve Pivot wall light 6Nov 26, 2008 8:23 pm Hi there Joles,
