Browse Forums Lighting + Lighting Design 1 Oct 06, 2008 3:24 pm After many hours on the phone chatting with experts - I have come to the following conclusion re our lighting layout. We will be looking at a combination of LED's, CFL downlights, halogen and pendants with CFL's. I would love some feedback.
I have attached the floorplan (I have no idea how to put in in the message body?!!) Anyway, here goes - hope it kind of makes sense! Dimmable CFL pendant to bed 2,3,4 and either side of Master bed, 1 above dining and 2 in living 2 x CFL pendants to theatre (it is going to be the study and music room) and 2 x CFL pendants to Study (it is going to be the playroom). 3 x CFL dowlights to master, 2 x CFL dowlights to ensuite, 2 x to entry and 1 x porch. 2 x CFL strip lights above ensuite vanity and bathroom vanity Flush CFL light to laundry, bathroom and 2 x outdoor living 2 x halogens to WIR (recommended for best light for this purpose) 2 x LED to hallway, 2 above main kitchen island and 3 between benches. 1 above secondry island bench and another in between these benches. I planning on using some pretty modern shades, so will hopefully look quite funky! Sorry if its confusing - its hard to explain without being a computer techno guru! Thank you! to put your site plans or anything else in the message body you need to upload a copy of the plans to a hosting site. ie photobucket and then add an "img" link to the exact location of your plan. --> [img] the exact address of the image here [ /img] The "post a message"/"reply" page has buttons for "img" that will add the bits automatically if you click on it or you can manually add them.
