We have an old (1950s???) family holiday shack which has some aluminium sash windows. Because of their age and some being exposed to the sun, many are starting to weaken and fall apart.
The light coloured part you lift the window with, is made of some type of plastic.
The darker coloured "lock" part is made of metal and moves sideways to can sit in a small number of slots in the track. The lock part is spring loaded.
I've tried looking online for replacement locks/catches but can't seem to find anything similar.
They almost look like "caravan style". I'm interested if someone can recognise a brand/model or potentially where to get replacements.
