Hi
I am about to remove a Nib wall that is tied to a wall running perpendicular to the nib wall.
It is tied abt every 4th course
Nib wall is about 600 mm long and forms part of a chimney structure.
Roof carpenter is going to take all load of any part of the wall and chimney structure and I am awaiting Council permit.
Just want suggestions to deal with tie bricks - dont really want a saw cut as have wooden floorboards and is very messy. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅
any ideas/suggestions appreciated.
My thoughts were drilling holes through tie bricks to weaken them at join - Hard work but feasible??
