I have recently bought a house and planning a renovation. House is about 190m2 with apex truss roof. I’d love to raise the ceiling in about 40m2 of living space for about half the width/span of the current truss. How tricky and expensive is this? I understand that there are variables, but any ballpark ideas? Plan B would be to expose truss beams and/or add skylight tunnels.
