We need to remove and re-use it but am finding it extremely difficult. Can anyone suggest the best method. I have tried 1. grinding the nail head (hard to not grind the tin as well) 2. Centre punch and drilling the head off the nail (drill still wanders and elongates hole) 3. That is why there is a scarcity of pressed metal in good condition in salvage yards. Every way you try to remove it you end up damaging it.
