What floating floor!?

Hi everyone

Looking at floor selections for our new build and tossing up between hybrid and water resistant laminate. We will most likely go through the builder for these due to ease and only a slight cost increase (based off other quotes received)

Hybrid - Aspire New England Blackbutt - can’t really find much info about this and there’s not many reviews but the ones I find do seem positive

Laminate- Quick Step - Majestic Blackbutt - well known brand with relatively good reviews but can’t find too many about the specific range, the ones I have found seem positive though

Other option is kronoswiss aqua stop - same thing as above regarding reviews.

At the moment We’re leaning towards the laminate as it feels/ looks more authentic then the hybrid. We will also opt for the acoustic underlay to reduce sound.

Does anyone have any experience with the above, I’d love to hear the feedback - cost wise they are Aqua- 10k majestic- 12.5k hybrid-14.5K

TIA
Hi Nick

I'd be keen to know where you eventually landed and is it in now? Any thoughts for someone else about to go through the same process?

Thank you!

Hi Winnieshome,

Unfortunatelty, we pulled the pin with our builder Montgomery after we caught them out forging documents we had signed during the sales process. We are now building with graph that use different suppliers. For the flooring we have settled on Cleverchoice Hybrid

It was actually on the showroom floor and we liked the feel / sound/ look of it, so it was a no brainer!
