If you could go to the floorplan of the atlantique mk 2 on www.carlislehomes.com.au The entryway up to the lounge will definitely be 30 by 60 porcelain tiling. Next is a section between home theatre and lounge.. what should this pathway be since its traffic area? The rest of house is going to be a timber flooring. I'd have some type of hard flooring through that walkway past the lounge.... If the lounge is carpet..... I'm not sure whether you'd go tiles or floorboards. Is there any reason you're having tiles and floorboards? I'd probably go for one or the other for continuity.... I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. I definitely wouldn't have carpet thru the walkway..... I think either the floorboards or the tiles... but probably floorboards. Either would be ok I reckon.
