Our walls are plaster on double brick. When removing the old wall tiles, a fair bit of the mortar came off as well. My question is, how much of the old mortar do I remove around the walls? The plaster is crazed in several places, should I re-mortar this as well? Also, the netting underlay from the original floor tiles is still very well fixed to the floor. Is there any reason to strip this? Any help is much appreciated. Possibly both depending on the sizing.
