Patching Tas oak floorboards

Hi all

Just purchased a 1960s house with Tas oak hardwood floorboards, however in the lounge area the old fireplace was removed and the mantel area poured in with concrete instead of patching with floorboards

I want to jack the concrete out, put some joists in and patch with new/old floorboards. I assume the patch will stick out, so what's everyone's thoughts on this? Any tips?

Cheers!
