Can anyone advise me on how this floor should look pre seal?
I have had a professional sand and stain my floors, he was highly recommend but I’m not feeling confident about the way the stain looks. This is walnut with 30% black but I feel it looks very blochy and uneven, not how I expected it to look at all pre seal. He assures me once it’s sealed it will look great but I’m feeling nervous about it. I know hardwood is difficult (I think it might be tastier oak) and I expect difference in color for each board but the stain looks dappled and uneven to me.
