Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering Re: Timber laminate (rawson homes) 2Apr 28, 2018 11:18 am we got the standard laminate floor and have been in since october. we have the robot vacuum clean it every night (sometimes during the day). have a (indoor) cat, and 2 kids (2 and 4). Floor is still in great condition. we have a small chip in the kitchen from where the wife has dropped a cup or something though. the kids have a small tomas car that they ride on which occasionally gets drifted around corners, and it has left no marks where it has done its slides... also no marks from the dining chairs sliding on the floor (they do have rubber on the bottom of the chairs) something we didnt realise until handover was that the floor cant get wet, so if you spill something on it, you need to make sure it is mopped up straight away, and you arent supposed to let the humidity get over 60 or 70% with it.
