Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jan 04, 2018 6:26 pm Hi guys, I'm having builder to install laminated MDF (those click in ones) flooring today and really worry about the water damage that can happen to it. It covers the most part of the townhouse, except kitchen and toilet which are using tiles. I do spill drinks or water time to time, and the swelling MDF flooring pictures online are quite scary. What are the solutions? I'm think about using some type of flooring finish paint. Can this prevent water run into the gap and absorb by the floor? I'm still research on this topic, wondering whether it is doable and will it solve the problem. Any tips or advises are greatly appreciated!
