Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Nov 22, 2017 10:59 pm Hi guys I have a wooden floor in my living room, it's old and damaged, but i still think it can be renovated. I don't have the means to sand and varnish it anytime soon, so my question is can I put vinyl flooring on top of it? Would that damage the wood underneath too much? And would the vinyl floor even look good that way? Thanks for you r time! Re: Help me I have bad floors 2Nov 23, 2017 7:19 am The vinyl floor would look fine, but the glue used to attach it would cover the timber making it much harder to polish up later. Why not read up on how to sand and polish a timber floor yourself? It’s a reasonably easy DIY project, and hiring the sanding machines and buying the coating material and hardware is probably less that the vinyl floor you plan to lay. In NSW you would contact a Water services co-ordinator and they would give you advice as to whether or not… 1 16147 do not pay until you are satisfied with workmanship windows require flashing over the head archithrave and up under weatherboards 3 28287 |
