Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Sep 01, 2017 1:46 pm Hi all, This is my first post on this website. In our new house, we are willing to convert one room to a home based business for my wife which will be a beauty parlour which will involve waxing, threading, facial, menicure/pedicure etc. At the moment we have carpet in that room which we don't want to ruin because of the nature of work to be done so after a cheap option of laying vinyl or something that will be better for this sort of business and is easy to clean. What would you recommend? I would appreciate your help. If you could also provide the places to buy that stuff at a nominal rates, would be awesome! Thanks a lot! Re: Suggestions required for Flooring over Carpet 2Sep 01, 2017 4:13 pm You'd need something stiff, like laminated flooring, as anything soft, like vinyl, would be spongy. As it is, I think even a timber floor would feel weird. Maybe high grade plywood, polished or lacquered? 1 12678 Thanks for info, yes met with Power Utility, Builder's Site Supervisor and Electrician on site and aligned on the mains connection. Seems like the builder and Electrician… 2 10009 I know foam has been around since the 90's and CSR started manufacturing Hebel in 1989, so it's definitely possible 5 4118 |
