Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Aug 21, 2008 9:18 pm Hi,
We are building an extension to our existing Victorian house which has baltic pine floors. I am not too sure what type of floor to go for in the new part and what will look the best with the existing baltic. We have ruled out buying more baltic floor due to the cost and also because it is so soft. We have thought about bamboo in a similar colourto the baltic but I'm not too sure if this very new material will be too much of a contrast with the old. Timber is probably the other option but I am not sure which species will go the best with the baltic. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on this?? Or do you think bamboo or another alternative may look good??
