Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Mar 08, 2017 1:45 pm Hi All, My husband & I moved into our new buil in mid November 2016. We had bamboo flooring installed after handover by a third party. The installation was a disaster from the start - didnt have enough stock to complete the whole house and the installer actually nailgunned a hand painted pine scotia on all our cabinetry and has not completed any trim around or waterfall bench. My question is, what avenues can I take to get this sorted? Arguing with the shop front for the last 4 months has been fruitless and infuriating and I just want my house completed. I believe I have no rights under any building insurance as its only flooring. Is Fair Trading my only option? Thanks in advance for any advice.
