Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Oct 27, 2015 11:27 pm Hi! We can not decide with the flooring for our kid's room. What is the best material? The budget is limited. Maybe to use a usual laminate and buy some soft floor gyms. What about the carpet tile? Is it practical? thanks. It will also depend on the products they are using. You should clarify that they are using a high-solids epoxy and are not thinning the product by more than 15%. You can save additionally if you DIY. Its a relatively simple process for someone who is "handy". You can go over bare concrete, you'll just either need to sand or acid wash the floor prior to the products application.
